#Amiga under Mac

Does anybody know how to emulate an Amiga 600 using a Mac LC475? I believe
there is a German software supplier who does something like this. I want to try
and cut down on the number of screens, mice etc.

You have a Mac, and want to emulate an Amiga using the Mac?
Currently, it can't be done. While the Amiga is a 68000-CPU based computer,
its design uses several intergrated custom chips that function as graphic &
sound co-processors. It emulate the Amiga, you have to emulate the functions
of these chips transparently to software, or somehow include the chips on an
expansin board for the emulator's use.
However, the Amiga can do a very good emulation of the Mac, since most of the
Mac's features can be emulated in software at a decent pace with the other
features (ports) added through hardware.

Thanks Ron (People who…etc). This fits in with my understanding, but when I
put the question in the Mac shareware forum, somebody mentioned a product
called MagiC Mac, or MagicX or something, produced by a German company, which I
am trying to track down. Maybe it is a hardware and software kit to be able to
cover the things which you mention. Apparently it costs DM293.

There is some gimmick that emulates the ATARI on a MAC, maybe there was a
mixup?
I read about it in one of the latest Mac Magazines; I'll try to find the
article again and post it here.
