SICK!!!
Or is there any chance that Jack Tramiel, one of the founders of Commodore
and now owner of Atari, is jumping back in with financing?
( Beware of speculation based on poor reporting of unfounded rumors ).

Now THERE'S a heck of a rumor to start! Maybe it's just coincidence that they
stopped making their own computers, and maybe not <VBG>! 'Course, they got
their hands full just trying to get the Jaguar up to speed.
I close my eyes and dream of FINALLY owning the super 800XL I wanted to have in
1986 – even though I've owned it since 1990 (my 3000).
Oh, it's just another unsubstantiated rumor. WAKE UP! Reality check!
Thanks for the grins, Jim. It shouldn't be long now (ONLY TWO MORE WEEKS! Er,
would you believe two more months? <g>)
Tony
maybe the journalist couldn`t distinguish between "Atari" and "Amiga"; both
start with "A"?

Jim,
HEADLINE: "Jack Tramiel of Atari Caught in Love Nest with Medhi Ali of
Commodore!"
SUBHEADING: "Partner Gould, Surprised, Shocked and Cuckold!"
Just kidding. ;-}

I love it!!!!!!!!
But it will never make the National Enquirer. Although we know and, um,
love them, the names Tramiel, Gould, and Ali just are not as well known to the
general (unwashed) public as, say, OJ.
.. couldn't you work OJ into the story, somehow? Everybody else in the
magazine industry seems to be able to do it.
–Jim
Actually O.J. was one of the backers….
Unfortunately, Nicole found out about the plan, and knew too much.
Though there are rumors that Det. Mark Fuhrman was in charge of security,
and O.J. was not a backer but found out about it, and so was framed to
keep him from talking.
Seems there was a neraby neighbor who saw Gould, Ali, Tramiel and Marsha
Clark leaving the area around 10:45 that evening.
Jim,
Hmm, involving OJ into the story, eh? I'll think about it.
Regards,
John Chang
You GOTTA get a picture of OJ on the cover. Gee, I wish Amiga World had
managed that….
