#AMITCP problems

I am having trouble setting up AMITCP with PPP. I have tried both V3.0-b2 and
4.0 and I have the same problem. I connect to my server and run PPP and I can
tell that there is handshaking going on between my AMIGA and my server, but
when I try to run NAPSATERM, I get a message saying "Unable to find BSD socket
library". Any body got any suggestions? (Running A2000 with 4 Mb fast RAM).
Sounds like an assign that needs to be made to AmiTCP's libs dir hasn't been
made.
Did you use the installer script to install?

I used the installer script. I edited the startup-sequence myself, but it
matches the the addition-to-startup-sequence file. By the way, I looked in all
the directories, and there is no bsdsocket.library included. Also, I am trying
to use PPP v1.23. The instructions for PPP are updated for AMITCP v3.0b2 and
tell me I need to edit the netdb file to include the tmp file created by PPP
(Obviously my domain name is dynamically assigned). Since AmiTCP 4.0 does not
use the netdb file anymore, do you have any suggestions on what I need to do?
I'm sure my problem is trying to get PPP working with AmiTCP, but I really
don't know. System specs: A2000 5Mb RAM, running 2.04. If you want to continue

M:-) Look for SOCKET.LHA in this Forum, get it and make an ASSIGN for INET: to
AmiTCP: _after_ the AmiTCP-Lines in the user-startup. This worked for me- I
have a 10BaseT-Connection at work (University).
