#Default Screenmode

How do I make my WordPerfect 4.1 program start up using a screenmode different
from that which is selected in the Workbench Prefs ? There is nothing I can
find within the program which gives you the option of setting the screenmode,
and there are no tooltypes listed in the icon information. Anybody have any
ideas ? Thanks.

Are you using a Graphics board of some kind? Like any EGS board? I tried
to change the screen on Wordperfect too and I could only find two options.
First you can have it use the same screen as workbench, so you have to change
workbench to the resolution you want first. Or, if you have a graphics board
(I have an EGS spectrum) they come with programs to promote the screen to what
you want. Other screen promoters don't seem to work with Wordperfect, like
Newmode for instance. Even with a graphics board. Not much help, maybe
someone else has some better ideas on the subject.

Thanks, Dege. No, I'm not using a graphics board (although I wish I was). I
think it may be time to get a new word processing program. I've never been too
happy with WP. BTW, have you found a way to make it no ask you if you're sure
when you select a block of text and delete it ? It drives me crazy to have to
run back and forth from mouse to keyboard like that and answer dumb questions.
