Aaron, I'm using Aura on a per object basis and all pixels, but I'm getting an extra amount of glow when the object I've set to glow intersects another object. It appears to glow everything within the selected objects boundary box. It does the same thing when I specify "edge" as well. any way around this? thanks -Kyle

Kyle, Aaron is out of town for a few days, so please repost this to him after you see that he's back (by the end of the week). – G

When you get an answer to this, let me know as well. I have exactly the same problem (I was waiting to see if version 1.3 fixes this, as I should get that upgrade automatically).

Hi Kyle, I have the same problem with aura. I talked with Dave at Digimation and he suggested that you render just the object you want to apply the effect to with alpha split on and then use the alpha image of your object in the mask slot. This works and you only get the effect around the object itself. I ran into a slight problem though, and I haven't gotten back to Dave to talk to him about it. The smooth edges on the alpha mask around the object render with the jaggies. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, I don't know. I did upload adblock mesh in the meshes library under the name Aura problem. I'm trying to do just the chisel with the alpha mask but I get the jaggies. You might want to take a look at it. If you get any answers before I do, give me a shout. 🙂 See ya, JC P.S. excuse the description of the file !
