Hello, all. My name is Jeffrey Honeyman and I'm a new member of the Desktop Video Forum. I live in Matawan, New Jersey. By trade, I'm a television production and programming generalist. I've been in the broadcast field since the mid '70s, with the bulk of my work taking place at WNET, the PBS station in New York City. I have been a writer, producer, senior producer of both the station's on-air fundraising efforts and of a nightly public affairs series, program schedule manager, and in my latest position, a general assignment associate director and stage manager. That position was eliminated early this year. Now, I freelance as an AD/Stage Manager, along with trying to reestablish myself as a writer/producer, running a home desktop/WP business with my wife and taking care of our two young children. I'm looking for work, of course; my resume is on file in the Forum. I'm available as a writer, producer or director, and can provide references for specific inquiries; broadcast, industrial, corporate, home video…you name it. I am very interested in DTV. Part of my reasoning behind developing a generalist's skill set has been the inevitability of convergence between personal computers and teleproduction systems. Given my varied background, I believe I can be quite useful to most production efforts. I'm also looking to hook up with multimedia production groups in need of a video production specialist. It's good to be here. Feel free to contact me via CIS E-mail (76015,3330) or telephone (908-583-1789).
