#VT Flyer in Indiana?

I have been using a video Flyer for the past month. Although I already have a
serious case of Flyer addiction, I must tell you that you should not seriously
research the flyer until its final software release comes out. The versions
currently out now are called .9 Newtek estimates that the final release should
be out at the beginning of April sometime. Right now, many of the Flyer
functions are not working well and others don't work at all. Currently, long
video sequences with lots of effects cause all sorts of playback problems. You
cannot assemble rotoscoped clips in T-Paint, you cannot use scroll, key or
crawl pages in your productions, these are just a few important things that
need to be resolved. Newtek swears that all these will be addressed in the
final software and there is no reason to think it won't. I rarely had system
crashes based on my Toaster, and I believe the Flyer will be of the same
quality.

You can assemble the rotoscoped clips as a background image sequence in
LW.

I appreciate that. We've done this before. However we couldn't decide if
antialiasing made a difference on the images. It got to be time consuming. Do
you know if it does??? I'm going to try an arexx script that allows you to
assemble RGB's into a clip file. Hopefully that will work
Antialiasing in LW does not affect background image sequences. If you are
trying to antialias a sequence, you could batch process through ADPro or
ImageFX or ImageMaster, or you could possibly use ToasterPaint (blur) and
AREXX.

Don't be so negative. Version 4 should be out by the end of the month and
will correct many problems (they have to get it out before NAB on April 9).
Versions 3.9 and 3.94 were after all Beta versions and were expected to be
buggy.
Say, why aren't you hanging out in the Amiga Vendors forum — that's where
all the Flyer guys are?
