Marlene, your comment about DVIDEO needing a single-framing VTR is misleading—you only NEED a single-framer if you are going to use Super-Slow mode….and since there is <currently> no way to automate the process, it would be very tedious to sit there and push the frame advance. It is quite possible to record in real-time with a regular VTR, but not as smoothly, of course. In addition to the s/ware, one would need a hardware interface to advance the VTR <automatically>….just depends on one's tedium threshold. Jeric

Jeric, my point is that if you want to use DVideo to create videotape videos then you do need a VCR that has super-slow single frame. It's true that it's tedious to press an arrow key on the amiga and a button on the VCR for every single frame of your video but it's certainly the only way to do it at the moment. I don't think my statement was misleading at all. Marlene
