HI, I have resisted saying anything till now…and I hate the rumor mill! We have just recieved word from 2 diff. sources that the man in Wash. (Ulysses?) has won the bidding process with a very high bid. The folks in the Islands say the final auction should take place in the next 30 days. Has anyone else heard this? If so please post here or send me some info! Thanks, Tom Patrick InnoVision (Makers of Alpha Paint, MONTAGE and Broadcast Titler 2) #74777,1155

Tom, Thanks for the info … I hope you won't take it personally if I remain extremely skeptical, tho. I mean, over the last 10 months there has been "confirmation" of Samsung, CEI, Pleasance, Escom, HP, Sony, and now a Greek god from Washington?

Righto, Steve – I'll believe it (sorry, Tom) when I see it printed in the Wall Street Journal – maybe I won't believe it until I see new machines available for sale on the shelves …

Tom — I'd be interested in anything you know about the folks from Washington. Escom of Germany has won the bid and the auction will be scheduled soon. It is possible that the folks from Washington are somehow involved in meeting North American demand for Amiga products. — Dan
