#Merging .PRJ files

Hi Jonas, Can I burden you with a couple more questions…? When I merge a camera and its path from one .PRJ file to another I find that it is not at the same coordinates in the new file at frame zero (or in the 3D Editor). What can cause this? I reset the construction coordinates to *Home* in both files, hoping that might do it… needless to say it didn't. A related question: Is there a way to move the camera's (or any object's) *entire* path to a new location after I have merged it into a new project? Thanks! Scott Sorkin White Shark Systems

Scott, First make sure the path is visable <Path/Show-hide> for the object, then use Paths/Move Key while holding down the ALT key and click on any key in the path. Ralph

Check the Animate button in your Merge dialog box. It should probably be On. Secondly, Ralph has one solution to moving an entire path. You can also simply hold down the Alt key while moving an object, and its path is moved as a whole (whether it's displayed or not). – Jack

Jack, Got Ralph's message. That should solve the problem. I still don't know what is causing it though… The Animation button is *on*, as is the *cameras* button. Oh, well; one of life's little mysteries. Thanks, Scott
