Hi Jamie, I just bought ER's Transjammer Plug-In and have been having a problem on the installation. Don't worry, I'm not asking you to help solve that<G>…It's just that I noticed Tansjammer needs RP ver. 1.0c or later….I started Razor to check which version I had and, sure enough, I have 1.0a. How can I get an updated copy of Razor Pro ? Thanks, Gary 🙂

Gary, Version 1.0c is on the BBS. Happy downloading – BTW check out the cut/copy/paste, the improved handling of the final output files including the ability to set the PAR compression settings from within RAZOR PRO. Scrolling along the timeline is now possible as well as a pretty substantial increase in rendering speed. Jamie Carr in:sync

Jamie, I do not have an ani file option in the media player as page 23 in the manual says that I should. I cannot add the MCI driver. The driver is listed as an installed driver but when I choose Media Player, I have only Video for Windows, Sound and Midi Sequencer. If I choose drivers in the Control Panel, the [MCI] DPS Personal Animation Recorder is listed (version 1.11). If I choose it for setup, the DPS Personal Animation Recorder window appears but there are no choices availible. Any ideas? I am using Razor 1.0c, Par 1.5 and Windows for Workgroups 3.11. Thanks,

Robert, If this occurs, reboot the computer. I find it happens pretty regularly. I don't think it's a RP problem since as you said it happens in Media Player also. B-

Brenden, Yes. The next time I turned on the computer, the media player had the DPS ani file option. Thanks. Hope you can help with another question. I can make an avi file with sound and compressed video–works fine. However, when I 'make final'(prj with ani and wav) the player appears with a green screen after it processes the file. I can see the wav file but neither will play back.

Robert, I will check on this for you and get back to you with a reply. If anyone else has the problem with the MCI driver another thing to try is to load the system.ini and the windows.ini into a text editor and then choose SAVE AS and then SAVE AS the same name. This causes the date on the INI files to change and this will automatically update the MCI drivers. Jamie Carr in:sync

Jammie, I hope you put in a MCIPAR version checker for your next version.. I was running the old drivers and didnt know it. Last night I ran with the new drivers and noticed a considerable difference. Especially when scraping.. Man oh Man really quick even with an effect/transition on.. PS. Thanks for the make movie's new location and the addition of make the selected area. This is helping me a lot since I only have 16mb of ram and want quick previews.. Looking Good Bob from the Design Shop.. PSS. you should bundle Trans Jammer Wow. 3D effects make for cool transitions.
