If AmigaWorld is out of business, why did I receive a renewal form from AmigaWorld in the mail today?

Amiga World has been shutdown, however IDG, the parent company, remains in business. Also the subscription fulfillment houses (separate businesses that work for many different magazines), have to be notified by IDG to quit marketing the magazine. Evidently IDG hasn't gotten to that point yet, or perhaps the gears were already in motion for the current time period, and it may well have been cheaper to let the mailings go out, than it was to call them off. Business is strange that way. Our local utility built a buidling no longer needed, because it was cheaper to finish than to pay the escape fees. – Alex…. Still Whap!'n after all these years

I haven't followed the entire thread on this… have we (being subscribers) received the last issue, or is it yet to come? (I just received April about a week and a half ago.)

April is the final issue.
