I have worked for Commodore for several years before i left to become self
employed. 90 % of company policy was determined by CBM in the USA. These
policies were designed for the completely different US market. Europe has been
the only growth market for the Amiga, and yet CBM never marketed their products
seperately. Even so, Commodore UK managed to do very well with the little
policy power it ever had. The currant status of CBM has been caused by a narrow
minded concentration on the US Amiga market, which is, to say the least, a
little bit under developed. Because CBM kept such strict control over Commodore
UK, this very successful branch has been left up in the air, hoping for a
take-over.
My grudge is not with Amiga users in the US, but with CBM, who have consitently
shown their narrow mindedness, in not broadening their policy developement to
encorporate the UK or European markets.

I'm glad we both agree on the situation, its pretty dire, thats for sure.
On a lighter note, do you know any good null and full modem link games, or
where i could look for some?

I have no idea where to get modem games. You might try the PD librarys on a
local BBS…:)
