I don't know what the "Tiger files" are, but the product sounds great. But
Windows-only seems like a limited market, IMHO.

I agree. We have not ruled out a DOS version totally. ken
If you're not too squeezed for space, perhaps you could place both a DOS
version and WINDOWS version of the access program(s) on the same disk.
That way, you could sell the same disk to those who use WINDOWS, those who
won't use WINDOWS, and those who don't use WINDOWS yet.
Just what we were thinking. No need to even ship a floppy. There is plenty
of space left on the disk for other things. ken
The DeLorme map sounds like a great product. It runs under windows
though… is anything besides the CD-ROM driver and MSCDEX needed to run it
under Windows(God you don't mean Multimedia Streetmaps? With all those
people unemployed…) Seriously nothing special?
All you need is Windows and a CD that works with it. We don't rewuire (sp)
require MPC extensions. We didn't put any silly filler on the disk. It's
FULL of map data. As for all thos unemployed, what are we supposed to do ?
We could feel sad and close up shop but what good would that do anyone?

I have Street Atlas. You don't need anything other than mscdex, and it's
REALLY easy to setup. You run the setup program, give it a directory where
it should store the program files, and it does the rest.

David, how much space is needed for Street Atlas' hard disk files?

The Street Atlas files take up about 2MB of hard disk space.
