Thanks for responding to my note on compuServe. I am currently getting ready to
graduate and teach in the schools. I was wondering if there are any
professional organizations for Earth Space Science teachers? I would like to
find a source of information about the field on a national level. In my area of
the country (Indiana) the field is just starting to become popular in the
school systems. I am very interested in the overall condition of the field
nationally. If you know of any organizations, I would appreciate you giving me
a name and address. Thanks for the response!

The best organization on the national level is the National Earth Science
Teachers Association (NESTA). They have a publication called The Earth
Scientist.
