#Help! Books Needed

Hello All!
To prepare for our annual pilgrimage to Bancroft, I am looking for the
following books and resource materials. I am willing to buy them or trade
other books for them. If they are in the public domain, then I'd be willing to
pay for photocopy charges to obtain copies of them. Here is the want list:
1. Boziak, Carl. Rock Collecting Guide, Bancroft and Madoc Area; Carl
Boziak, Stirling, 1963, revised 1973.
2. Leach, Harley. 200 Mineral Locations in Southern Ontario; Harley Leach,
Kingston (date ?)
3. Lyons, Bob. Touring the Past; Northern Source Books, Bancroft, 1987.
4. Sabina, Ann. Rocka and Minerals for the Collector: Ottawa to North Bay,
Ontario; Hull to Waltham, Quebec; Geological Survey of Canada, Paper 70-50
(1971).
I have available for trade the following:
1. Gladwell, Jon. Crystals and Minerals: A Family Field Collecting Guide
for Northwestern Oregon and Southwestern Washington, Vol. II and Vol. III
(Portland 1994).
2. Schlegel, Dorothy. Gem Stones of the United States; USGS Bulletin 1042-G
(Wash., DC 1957).
3. Jackson, Bob. The Rockhound's Guide to Washington (Renton, WA 1992).
4. Colorado Metal Mining Fund, Tungsten Mines of Colorado (Denver 1960).
5. Simmons, Wm. and Heinrich, Wm., Rare-Earth Pegmatites of the South Platte
District, Colorado; Colorado Geol. Survey Resource Series 11 (Denver 1980).
If you don't have the books on the want list, but you know where I might be
able to acquire them, I would like that information as well. Thanks.

I don't know if the Sabina paper is still in print (GSC publications are
notorious for going out of print). You may already know that there is a newer
volume that covers the Bancroft area: Sabina, Ann P. 1986. Rocks and Minerals
for the Collector: Bancroft-Parry Sound area and Southern Ontario. Geological
Survey of Canada Miscellaneous Report 39. I'm sure this volume is still in
print (I think I saw a copy on display at the GSC bookstore here in Calgary). I
paid CDN$14.00 (about US$10.00) in a Toronto book store about 2 years ago.
Another item is listed in the bibliography of the Sabina book:
Sabina, Ann P. 1982. Some rare minerals in the Bancroft area. The Mineralogical
Record, Vol. 13, no. 4, p. 223-228.

Thanks for your reply. I have the Sabina book on the Bancroft area, as well
as most of her Min. Rec publications. The Sabina book in my want list is, in
fact, out of print, but it covers the area north of Bancroft. In particular,
the older book on my list covers the Madawaska area mines, which are a
particular interest of mine. If you know of any sources for this out of print
volume, please let me know.
