Hi all…. I need some help on purchasing a good video capture board. I've been looking at a few models…ATI's Video-it, Intel Smart Video Recorder Video Capture, Win/Tv, and Miro Video D1. I'm not to familiar with any of these boards and it seems that I can't find a sales person who can help me. The board is needed for both video and still capture. If anybody can give me a hand on a selection on these or any other boards, i would really appreciate it. (card not needed for professional use for now, but to start my small buisness) Mike……

Mike, As a member of this forum I have heard very good things about the miro DC1 card and, in a magazine review, good things about the Intel SVR. Personally I have had good experiences with the FAST Movie Machine. There was a real good article on Windows Video Capture Cards in the November 94 issue of New Media magazine if you can still find it. -John

John…. Thanks for your reply. I'll try to find that issue of New Media . Personally I was leaning towards the Miro card, but I didn't want to jump into a purchase without knowing what was available. I'll keep in mind the cards you mentioned. -Mike-
