We're currently having a few problems with rendering using 3DS v4. Is it possible to render a view without perspective using a camera rather than a user view? Also the models we are creating are of a fixed scale, so we'd like the model to imply the size of the bitmap to generate, is this possible? Any help would be much appreciated. Camera views always have perspective, but the effect can be minimized with a tiny field of view and a Lens setting with a high number. (Kinda like zooming in on an arc. If you keep zooming in, the portion of the arc that you see looks almost straight.) What is the effect you're trying to go for with your question? I'm not sure I know the answer to your second question – perhaps someone else can step in? Thanks.

>> Is it possible to render a view without perspective using a camera rather than a user view? Only by using a very small FOV (large MM lens). >> Also the models we are creating are of a fixed scale, so we'd like the model to imply the size of the bitmap to generate, is this possible? I don't really understand what you're saying here. What is generating what bitmap and how is that bitmap used? – Phil
