#Books on Animator Pro
8 messages in this thread
Can anyone tell me if any books on tips and tricks for Animator Pro have been
published? I don't need a tutorial on the basics (the manuals do a fine job of
explaining how to use the various tools, inks, etc.) I would like a book that
demonstrates and explains techniques and some of the finer points, so that I
won't have to spend hundreds of hours experimenting with all of the possible
settings and combinations of tools and inks to discover what can be done with
the software.
Thanks,

Tom,
I think "Using animator" published by QUE technical, [ISBN 0-88022-544-0] may
be just what your looking for!
Good luck,

Thank you, Carl. I'll see if I can find it.

Is this book "Using Animator" written for Autodesk Animator or Autodesk
Animator Pro?
Thanx in advance,

I would recommend the free telecourses in library 4 (search on NTP02 and NTP03
for courses which begin with ANI). last semester there was one on techniquesand
this semester there are 3; one on POCO, one on technique and one on integration
with 3D Studio. all are sponsored by the North American Autodesk User Group. if
you find them valuable, membership costs the same as a book ($35). -dave
Thanks for the reply. I'm going to check it out now.
Please tell me how I can find out more about NAAUG and how to join.

Easiest way would be to call NAAUG central at Autodesk at 415-507-6565. Toby's
also online here at 75663,2071. -dave
Thanks again! I'll be joining right away.
