#QEMM problem
2 messages in this thread
I am having a problem running our network AutoCAD with newly aquired copies
of QEMM v6.0. Our AutoCAD runs fine until I install the QEMM386 driver.
At that point I get this message:
"VDISK signature off vector 19h marks memory used from 100000h – 00110000h
Signature in boot block at 1 MB marks memory used from 100000h – 00100000h
Use -VDISK or -EXTLOW addr switch to force execution, if you are sure no
extended memory overlaps will occur."
We have Everex 386/25 and 486/33 computers with 8mb. I am using this line
with QEMM:
DEVICE=C:\QEMM\QEMM386.SYS RAM EXTMEM=6144
I would rather not change the ACAD.EXE file since it is on the network and
runs fine on 30 other machines without the Quarterdeck product. What
should I do?
Michael – I've never seen that one before! Could you repost your query on the
*other* Autodesk forum? This one (ASOFT) is for Autodesk's multimedia and
scientific software; you should be in ACAD, which is where AutoCAD is dealt
with.
So GO ACAD from a ! prompt. When you get there, please use message section 6
"Opsystms/Networks".
See you there!
