The latest Info has a page full of simple ways to crash AmigaDOS: things one
can type at the CLI, buttons to push while resizing windows, that sort of
material.
Is this journalism?

I haven't seen Info for quite a while…it's kind of the "National
Esquire" of the computer world as far as I'm concerend….but out of
curiosity, what happens if you try some of their 'suggestions'…does the
Amiga crash? Or are they printing 'rumors'?
I have an Inquiring mind, I suppose!
The Info 'Bugs in AmigaDOS 1.2' suggestions I tried all succeeded in crashing
the machine, and in interesting ways.
Perhaps someone would want to post the list here?
To post an entire article from Info would violate the spirit of copyright.
As well as incite the weak willed.
Yes, posting the article would be naughty, but I can't see that listing the
bugs would be a no-no. I'm curious!

The article in question was written by Bryce Nesbitt, so it's no
piece of fluff. I see nothing irresponsible in printing it.
INFO the "'National Esquire' (sic) of the computer world"? Say what?
I can think of far more deserving candidates for that honor. InfoWorld
for one. When INFO prints rumors, at least they identify them as such.
I happen to like INFO a lot: its smart-alecky tone, shoot-from-the-hip
irreverence, and the fact that the fellas in charge use the products
they write about to produce the rag. You should check out the last two
issues, both composed primarily with Professional Page. They look…
umm…professional. I think magazines like INFO provide a healthy
counterbalance to the Bytes and Personal Computings of the industry.
How many computer publications can you find these days with a sense of
humor?

Whoops…now my turn to blush….I thought the original article WAS
in InfoWorld…which many refer to as 'info'. InfoWorld was what I was
refering to as the 'National Enquirer' of the Computer world.
