Well, you're right. It is our Summagraphics digitizers that are getting the error message. We're using AMPRO drawing librarian and it uses the tablet as a mouse emulator. So, what do you recommend we do to fix it?

If you are simply using AMPRO outside of Autocad, then you need to use a Summagraphics utility program called MMRST.EXE, or something like that. Place it in the batch file that starts Autocad, and that will usually fix the problem. Another workarround is to start a plot in the drawing editor, and then cancel it once you get to the configuration options ("Do you want to change anything?"). This re-initializes the editor, the display driver, and the tablet, as well as re-loading the PGP file. If you are shelling out of Autocad and using AMPRO there, (or any other program that uses the mouse driver, for that matter), then the solution may be more complicated, and I'm not sure what will work. But don't even think about trying to unload the driver before starting Autocad, and then loading it when shelled out. Loading TSR's when shelled out of any program will give you headaches quicker than hitting yourself over the head with a sledgehammer <g>. It also will lock up your machine…
