I just got a look at the output of TOPAS, it is very nice, but also very expensive. I'd say about $12K for a reasonable complement of modules, no? Plus hardware on top of that.

Sirs, under what resolutiom does the TARGA board gives 16 million colors 640×400, 1024×1024 ( max avaible for commercial use ) . A pixel can ONLY have one color at all times ( to the human eye… ) a 1024×1024 can only display 1,048,576 color at ANY given time and I doubt that you can make a master piece of this colors… Ed Silva

Sir, Each pixel may assume any of the 16 million colors. What you are mixing up is the number of pixels with the color pallette that each pixel has. Corky Deeds LightSpeed Corp.

Ed, I work as a television engineer at KLCS-TV in Los Angeles. Also, I have started up my own computer graphics and animation company on the side, which I hope to devote full time to as my client list grows. Tell me about your work. Most of my jobs so far have been titles, logos, effects. I'd like to do some building fly-bys and product developement renderings for autocad users. Bruce
