If you have: 1. Solid experience in mechanical parts design and expertise in AutoCAD. OR 2. Expertise in customizing AutoCAD, including LISP, with a working knowledge of 3D mech design and drafting, AND 3. Are literate, interested in sharing knowledge, and capable of clear written expression, THEN, please drop me an EMAIL note with your name, background and phone number. It could result in rewards including fame and fortune (or not!). Rusty Gesner, New Riders Publishing

Hey Rusty! .. I don't meet any of the above qualifications, but I did want to butt in and congratulate you on your new book "Customizing AutoCAD". What an incredible resource! I am very impressed with the quality and quantity of information y'all put in this monster. .. I really like the way that you included formulas and geometry diagrams throughout the text. My resources for that kind of stuff have been inadequate till now. .. Good going! .. Lansing Pugh Authorized AutoCAD Dealer Austin, Texas (512) 441-4666 .. .. ps. Was one of your goals to outweigh the AutoCAD manual? ..

Gee, Lansing, it's good to hear such praise, especially from another ACAD old timer like yourself. Maybe we'll quote you on the cover next edition! I would like to add that Customizing AutoCAD was a joint effort, with co-author Joe Smith, ACUWARE, Inc (structural pkg for ACAD), and a lot of help from Patrick Heassly among others. See you at ACAD Expo??? Rusty – New Riders Publishing
