#Font Definitions

Seems to me that when I got my Release 9, most of the new fonts were
available only in the compiled form. Has this changed?
..
Would there be any problem with you uploading the source for those fonts
to the data library?
..
Thanks,

Without getting out my disks to look, aren't they in a separate sub-directory
or on a bonus disk, etc?
Craig.
Font source code for the Hershey fonts?
..
They aren't on my Bonus disk. Tell me if the are on yours.

No, this has not changed; the uncompiled new fonts are not supplied, but can
be mailed to customers at the request of their dealer. As for uploading the
fonts to a DL, the general consensus seems to be: just download the
de-compiler in DL10 (SHX2SH.ARC), and uncompile the fonts yerself! =SM=
Steve,
Hate to say it, But that decompiler does'nt always work…….
I think that's a perfectly reasonable approach. Thanks!

I think it makes sense. Have you tried the .SHX de-compressor? It is quite
remarkable tool. Having it also allows you blow away the .SHP files from your
disk. When ever you need the source, you can re-create it.
