Anyone hear anything from INNOVISION, publishers of Broadcast Titler? Has
there been an update from the original software? Thanx! —Mike
There have been a couple of minor "quick fix" updates. There's a major
rework of the program due out RSN (aren't they always? <g>). That's
supposed to hit at the same time as their font enhancer program, which is
supposed to be able to take a large font and allow you to cleanly rescale
it to any (smaller) size. It's supposedly not just a bitmap resizing; the
program supposedly determines the character outline and redraws it without
the artifacts that appear when doing a brush resize in DPaint, etc. Also
it's supposed to antialias the fonts so they match the apparent resolution
of the BT-supplied fonts. It's been RSN for about 8 months now.
They sent me a "Quick Fix" update a month or so back after I telephoned,
asking the same question. I've heard rumors of a major upgrade, but
haven't seen such a beast.
