Paul, I work for TBS, so maybe I can help you. I'm not sure exactly who handles the field transmission stuff, but I can give you the names of two people who can tell you. One is Jim Brown, Engineering Training Director, who is responsible for finding Engineers for the company as one of his job functions. He works out of CNN center in Atlanta, and can probably be reached via the main CNN number at 404-827-2000. The other person is Jack Barr, Chief Engineer, Turner Teleport, the companies Uplink facility. I know some of his people went to the Gulf during the war. I think he can be contacted at the main number for TBS, 404-827-1717. I'm not sure of the exact phone numbers, since I am at home and don't have the company phone book handy. I hope this helps.
