Your attitude on this Aztec vs. Lattice thread is un-believable! Just what is the point anyways? I have used both Lattice and Aztec and they are fine compilers, and the Amiga is better for both of them. If it wasn't for Aztec you would still be using Amiga C 1.0 (competition you know). If it werent for Lattice I probably would be still programming in FORTRAN. Both of these compilers have features that the other doesn't, and having written the same program using both compilers I would have to say it's a trade-off. Your religious fanaticism about in-line assembly code is something I have ONLY heard from people who own a compiler that is not capable of it. You should see the library source for TC (all in-line assembly). The fact is that whenever fanaticism enters into technical discussions (or religion) that no one is the better for it. Also saying that (paraphrasing) only lazy and/or stupid programmers use in-line assembly is hardly worth commenting on. That is like saying something like "Only idiots program in COBOL", it just doesn't do anyone any good to make statements like that. I think you had better tone down your attacks and at least appear to be somewhat reasonable or you find yourself in the situation where everyone just ignores your messages. Robert W. Albrecht
