Thanks for your #16924 on the versions of Manhole. Could you elaborate a bit more on the differences between Manhole FM Towns and Manhole DOS CD VGA? If it narrows the explanation, I've got a 486/33 with Sony Laser Library, VGA, no Windows, and Ad-Lib. I tried your 1/3/92 suggestion of calling Activision customer support folks to locate retail sources; spoke to Greg this AM. He advised that he was unaware of any retail sources and thought, when pressed, that SoftCat was your distributor. Tried them, and they advised that they hadn't handled the title for almost a year and that, while they had been discussing some new arrangements with you, they knew of no firm distribution plans anywhere. Your suggestion of Egghead didn't pan out at three locations in Silicon Valley. Can you (or anyone else!) advise of a source/pricing? I've got an anxious grandkid that loves the floppy version. TIA… Kevin–

The FM Towns version and the DOS VGA CD-ROM versions are very simular, but the DOS VGA stuff has these neat dissolve-wipe style of effects. I'll talk to marketing about the issue of "where to find" this stuff… William Volk
