I need to find a program that will help us design cross-stitch patterns on the Amiga. These designs would then be published in a booklet format. We have tried using ProDraw and Draw 2000. There are commercial cross-stitch design programs available on the IBM and Mac. Does any one [D [D Does any one know of a public domain x-stitch design program?

Yes, there is one. It is called "Stichery" and may be found on Fish Disk 350. It will turn any IFF picture into a cross stich pattern.

Thanks John, have you ever used the Stitchery program before? My wife is anxious to try it soon. We appreciate your help. exit

I did try it out when I got the Fish disk. It seemed to be well put together and I don't remember it crashing at all. It was about a year ago that I last used it. I should dig it out and see if it works with WB 2.04.

Charles, there is (or has been) a program to do that in one of our libraries. Have a look at this one: STITCH.LZH 13 57K 03-28-90 Make your own needlework designs from IFF pics You'll find it in Library 13, AmigaUser. Betty
