Gary, Thanks very much the "H" key. It sure makes selecting an object easy. Very valuable feature. Two odd occurrances: 1. From a top view, I displayed the path of an object and the path was shown off to one side and above the object — not connected to it. I finally had to delete all keys and re-make the movement. It has worked fine since. 2. I have a scene in which a bullet strikes a pane of glass and then bounces backwards. A cone is moved into position where the bullet hit to simulate a conical fracture of the glass. The strange thing is that in some frames of the fli, the cone has picked up some color (copper) from the bullet. This color transfer does not show up when I render a single frame — only when I make a fli. Alec Jason P.S. Its great to be able to render so quickly — fast, fast, fast relief!

Your first question, about the path being displayed offset to the object, can't be answered without seeing the file. It's possible that you had a hierarchy condition set in your scene that made the path draw in that way. If you have a question about something like that again, just zip up the file and send it to me and I'll explain what's going on. Regarding your second question about the colors in the flic not being the same as the colors in the still image… Great question! The reason why the colors are "transfering" from one object to another is due to the Palette Mode you're using when you render the flic. The dominant colors are using up more color registers, and if the colors of different objects are similar, they'll pick up a bit of each others colors when the color-cut goes down to 8-bit. You can overcome this by following the advice in the r2 manual about making a Custom pallete within Animator and using that in 3D Studio. – G PS: I heard on KGO radio last night that your car has a valve problem… Trying to get some free mechanical advice from BillW? Forget it!
