Gary Thanks for the info. I have to decided whether it's going to be food or or a new toy at this point in the business. I don't have a continous flow of work yet and don't use the maps very much, since I'm doing accident simulations. So far, being super realistic is not what I see the lawyers asking for. I certainly will buy a CD-ROM player when I purchase a faster computer. Thanks again……Rick

Go for the food. <g> But seriously, you'll find more than valuable textures on the CD-ROM. There's so much geometry on the disk that you'd never have to build many common objects from scratch. If you need office buildings, furniture, cars, planes, and people, the CD will save you hundreds of hours of valuable time. – G

Sounds like I could use it with those kinds of objects. When the next job comes in I might be able to justify it with the half down that I require. Just one more question, does it have any trains on the CD-ROM? Many many thanks for your previous response and for this response. Rick

Believe it or not there IS a classic steam-driven locomotive on the CD-ROM. It's quite detailed (by Rick Barrientos). – G
