Mitch… I use a Relisys RE-5155 monitor with my Targa adapters. The 5155 has the capabilities to sync to the Targa's 15.75KHz (horizontal) bandwith. The monitor is fairly reasonably priced (I've seen it – somewhere – around the $300 mark mailorder, but don't hold me to it. There is one caveat… You'll have to build your own cable between the monitor/targa adapter, however, both user manuals have great pinout diagrams and I was easily able to construct a cable using 9-pin D-Shell connectors from Radio Shack. The other option, is just run the Targa+ at NTSC composite out directly into your VCR video in jack and use your television for Targa output. Not a great solution, but it should work in the interim. (The signal is adequate, but you'll notice bleed in the red areas off the television). – Greg

What is the high end resolution on the Relysis Monitor? 640X480 or 800X600 or higher??

Jim… The Relysis RE-5155 will pull 1024×768 SVGA no problem, but is interlaced at those rezs. I've had that model for a couple of years and they've probably got a similar model out that will handle non-interlaced SVGA freqs. Might be worth a call to them (408)945-0587 for some updated product info… (I should probably do the same). – Greg
