Could Anyone please help me with information on vurtual reality ?
I have a customer looking to purchase at least 5 units if they are
avalible.
I need the name and information on the suppliers and prices if avalible.

Also any information on 3d development software for the same.
In the ComArt forum Lib 13 (Virtual Reality) is a file VRFRIM.TXT which
lists a number of companies involved with various aspects of VR. The VR
section of ComArt is fairly active both in the msg board and in the
libraries. There is a lot of q&a in the msgs, as well as a development
project for a low cost homebrew VR system.
The primary company is VPL Research, Redwood City CA Fax: (415) 361-1845.
They have VR systems from $50,000 up (US dollars). Another possible is
Straylight in Warren NJ (Fax: (908) 580-0092). Spectrum Dynamics of Houston
Texas fax:713 658-3889 advertises VR distribution for a variety of
manufacturers.
You might also consider faxing Greg Panos SophisTech Research, Lakewood CA
fax:(310) 425-0890 (email: gpanos@beach.csulb.edu). Greg is publishing an
industry reference directory for $129.00 (US).
