Alec, A low-percentage bump-map will make for passable semi-wrinkled bed spreads. The .GIF file that shipped with r1 called greymarb.gif (or something to that effect) has been helpfull to me. Check the recent upload BED02.zip in lib 9 if you would like to see the results. Gary's mention of an IPAS fractal crumple routine makes me extremely anxious to see that and other excellent tools that the IPAS standard seems to promise! Regards, Alan Iglesias

Alan, Thanks very much for your suggestions. I guess a marble type bump map will create the appearance of wrinkles by varying the color thereby providing dark spots simulating shadows. Am I on the right track? I tried the r2.0 "noise" and "vary" sxp's and they do something similar, I think. Alec Jason
