CONCERNING AMIGAWORLD SUBSCRIPTIONS….
Being an editor who is largely ignorant of subscription/distribution
details, I consulted our Circulation Manager in order to answer a question
posted earlier this week. I thought I'd share the info. all around.
If you have any questions about your subscription, please call our
toll-free subscription service number, 800/365-1364. It is accesible
from Canada as well as the US. (Be sure to have an issue with your
mailing label, a bill, or a renewal notice at hand when you call.) Or
send a letter (INCLUDE AN AW MAILING LABEL) to AmigaWorld Circulation,
80 Elm St., Peterborough, NH 03458. Fax is 603/924-0387.
As for renewal notices, we begin sending them six months before your
subscription expires. To find out how many issues remain in your sub,
check your mailing label: The code above your name ends with the cover
date of your last issue. (Do not be mislead by the first renewal request
which announces that this is your "last chance." It means that it's your
last chance to save an extra $2.)
Whatever your questions about a subscription, PLEASE CALL US!!!
Thanks,

It's considerate of you to post such an informative message. Maybe next
time you or someone in your company could keep us users informed on other
important developments as they progress (ala the sorry but frustrating
demise of the Tech Journal).
Thanks,

The AWTJ went away pretty quick. They didn't have much advance notice…
it was the "powers that be" at IDG communications that gave it the ax, not
the AmigaWorld folks.
