Sunny, Some time ago you asked about how DRDOS 6.0 works on the bridgeboard. I finally tried Sstor on my MakeAB C: drive file that I used to use with my XT BB (A2088 XT bridgeboard). It seems to work fine. Since then I've installed a Plus40 hardcard. Specifically, you wanted to know if the jlink problem could be solved. I've found out from Steven D. Kapplin 70055,1021 that the problem is only with the creation of virtual drives. I copied a previous AmigaDOS file that is a virtual drive to the RAM: and successfully jlinked to it under DRDOS 6.0, read a text on it, wrote a text file and verified it. Although this is not the most rigorous test, I feel that Steven's information is also true for me. Sincerely, (Mr.) Gayle Lee Fairless 'Perfessor Fearless' from the Rocket City! – via Whap!

Gayle, Thanks, I appreciate the update. I haven't been too satisfied with MS-DOS 5.0 and have been thinking of getting either DR-DOS 6.0 or 4DOS 4.0. Also, the jlink situation isn't quite as much a factor to me anymore since I have a PAS sound card which has a built-in SCSI interface. I currently have a Maxtor SCSI drive which I can switch between the Amiga and PC sides. -sun
