Does anyone know how to use the CDPLAY.EXE which comes with Sony drives to play audio CD's (music)? I mean, about all I can do from the menu is to play music in the Backround option. I don't seem to be able to use any other option (shuffle, pause, repeat, program, etc.) I barely managed (after about 8 calls to a (the?) Sony tech support line) to be told how to use it. The manual is almost non existent. Is there information somewhere? Thanks in advance. J L

I bought a Sony drive from DAK, and included was the Music Launcher. If this is the same program, all you have to do is type "play", and a wide array of functions are on the screen. If you want to play music in the background you type "playback on". I hope this helps. Kevin in NJ

Kevin, Just for the record, the PLAY, PLAYBACK and CDMENU programs you got from us are exclusive to the DAK bundle. They aren't included with the Laser Library, or anyone else's drives. Bryan/DAK

Thank you. What I have is a file called CDPLAY.EXE. Although it has many screen options, the only ones I can activate are either background play (without choice of shuffle, program, etc.) which returns control of the computer to me; or I can play (same thing, the screen options do not work) with the Sony control screen frozen in front of me!
