Dear Ray, A new SuperJAM! upgrade disk, plus a few surprises are on their way via UPS 2nd Day air. They were sent to your address in Alexandria. Please let me know if you do not receive them by Thursday. Melissa

I hope that they don't require someone to be here, since I live alone, and work from 7:30am to about 6:30 pm most days. If this doesn't work, I'll FedEx my bad disk to you, and you can FedEx back to my office on my accouant number. ?|^] Ray Lewis

I guess I should have checked with you first. It's supposed to be delivered today (Thursday), so please let me know if any problem arises. Melissa

Melissa: THANK YOU!!!! The package was here when I came home. I made a _copy_ of the update disk (not going to get burned again). I deleted the bad install of SuperJAM! from my HD. Ran the update disk HDInstall, put in my name and the serial number from my corrupted program disk — and it WORKED PERFECTLY! It just sucked up the right files from my Extras and Turbosound disks, and, while I haven't had time to play around with it much, I have run the program, and am about half way through the tutorial. BTW — I have an el cheapo Yamaha PSS-480 MIDI keyboard. Do you know if it emulates one of the MIDI keyboards in the default directory? Again — THANK YOU!!! ?|^] Ray Lewis

I'm so glad we could finally come through for you. Next time, it will be sooner. I'll ask one of the programmers about the Yamaha emulation question. I always recommend using the Roland MT-32 setup because it is the most standardized. Now that the General MIDI spec has been adopted, this problem will be eliminated. Melissa

> Sheep and cows don't buy cars and take six weeks vacation each year, either. < Must explain the high level of Dutch productivity and dedication to work, huh? Besides, not all sheep and cows are eaten.. and those that are aren't eaten until they're dead. 🙂 Today must be Friday. I never could get the hang of Fridays.
