Bryan… I'm really interested in the DAK $199 CD-ROM player; I have been reading about it in my DAK catalog, but have a few questions about it. I'm more inclined to ask it here rather than giving a call to DAK. Question: Are there any reported problems installing the card in PC's? My PC is basically full, with only one slot left, and IRQ's are getting sorta tight. I need to know if the card can be set up for more than the "normal" IRQ's found on other cards; I'd hate to lose another card's functionality because of an IRQ conflict. Answer this one question, and DAK just might get another order. Thanks. 😉

Bob, About all I can tell you is that both the address and IRQ can be changed by jumpers on the card. I don't know how many of each off hand, but I'm reasonably sure no customer has ever had to return a drive due to IRQ or address conflicts. Try it, and if you're not satisfied you can return it. Thanks, Bryan… it's worth a shot.
