Hello Steve,
Any plans to put information concerning Nautilus here? I have heard that
there is a Trial disk available. I would like to see some additional
information and pricing, if thats appropriate here.

I picked up a copy of the Nautilus PC trial disk through a bundle of
business reply card that camer in the mail. It is also availalbe from PC
COnnection for about $20. The demo was impressive enough for me to
subscribe at $120 per year. I haven't recieved any issues yet but will
express my opinions when I do.

Yup. I'll certainly be putting info about NAUTILUS in Lib 11 – NAUTILUS as
soon as I decide what I want there <g>.
I'll work on getting the subscription and pricing info up this weekend.
I'm hoping to include sneak previews of what's on the discs each issue
before they ship.

Is Nautilus PC a DOS or Windows based application?

Rell,
Our front end or, as we call it, "shell", is written in Toolbook so, if you
want to use the full functionality of NAUTILUS you could say that it's a
Windows product.
The articles are currently in straight ASCII text so that you can read them
with your favorite word processor, editor or viewer. We display them using
Notepad from the shell. We are, BTW, looking at the possiblities of using
Windows Write or something else to view the text files so that we can use
fonts, bold, italics etc. This would kill the ability to view the files in
DOS, though.
You can always address the CD ROM drive as a DOS drive and look at the well
organized <g> files, articles etc. that way.

How about using Rich Text Format (RTF), It looks a biot strange, but is all
ascii text, and easy to interpret.
Plus both Word for WIndows, and Worpderfect for Windows can import RTF
files directly
