I need to connect in network two amigas. Excluding things like parnet, DNet or Sernet, is there somebody who know some good product to make a LAN with two amigas ?? Thanx Massimo Brogioni MB-)

Massimo, I'd _strongly_ suggest ENLAN-DFS and some Ethernet cards.

We've been using ENLAN-DFS with the CBM Ethernet board; however, the fellow who was selling the software died unexpectedly and I know nothing at all about how viable the product is now. Perhaps someone else knows? –Ben …via AutoPilot

Massimo, Enlan-DFS is available from: Interworks 43191 Camilo Casillas Suite B2469 Temecula, California 92592 (714) 699-8120 Fax (909) 699-8120 The price is about $300 for a five node license. You will also need an ethernet board in each Amiga. The Commodore Board is part number A2065. This Ethernet board and others are available from mail order vendors. You connect the machines on the network via thin coaxial cable with BNC connectors. Make sure you get a "T" connector for each machine and that you have a 50 ohm terminator on the two "end" machines of the network, even if there are only two machines connected. A much less capable network for connecting two (and only two) Amigas is ParNet. It is available on AmigaUser Forum. ParNet requires a special Parallel cable. It effectively ties up your parallel ports for network-only use. Although, you may still be able to use the port for outgoing-only communication to a printer by using a small interface board called PrinterFace. Printerface plugs into the computer's CPU socket. A dealer called PreSpect Technologies in Canada advertises a Multiple Parallel board to be used with ParNet and claims that hundreds of Amigas can be networked with his special version of ParNet. If you can afford it, get Enlan-DFS. You won't be disappointed. Good luck! Rich
