Can anyone tell me the difference between HAM8 and conventional HAM graphics format? Is a special viewer required for HAM8?

old (ecs) ham is also called ham6… ham8 requires the AGA set (1200, 4000)

HAM8 is the new AGA Graphics HAM which allows 256,000 colors in high res on the screen at once, from the 16.8 million palete. Only an Amiga 4000 or 1200 can display this mode. // -Karl \X/ Amiga and Autopilot: The *only* way to fly!
