I own an Amiga 1200 and I am looking for a cheap, but useable Assembler
program.
I had Assempro on my Amiga500, but I don't think it likes the 1200 very much.
Any suggestions?

How about HiSoft's Devpac editor/assembler/debugger package?
For what you get, it is really cheap, and is claimed to work on all 680×0
processors.

Look SERIOUSLY in the the HiSoft package if you are really serious
about programming in Assembly. I've seen no others that can touch it. That's
what I write all my demo code in.

Can someone tell me from where I can order the DevPac assembler by HiSoft
from? I must a have a program completed by the 14th so it can be used in a
legal proceeding. If you can help me I am desperate. Also, can someone
suggest good Amiga (68000) assembly language books, and where I can get them
from?

It has been awhile since I have been back in this area. Sorry, don't really
know where you can get DevPac from. I did have a neat book on Assembler by
Daniel Wolf put out by Compute I think. The one from Abacus had some good code
, but it was geared to the AssemPro program which did things a little different
from everyone else.
