Thanks for the info, Steve. I probably will buy a box and use the vga capability. I hope my 1950 monitor does o.k. I use it on my laptop now and its o.k. but requires some fiddling with screen controls. I'm presuming its best to buy the best cabling available to minimize interference and imaging problems.

The 1950 will work just fine. I use one. I would get a buffered switchbox. JDR Microsystems sells one for VGA monitors. They also sell the extension cables. I think the box is $35 and the cables are $8 each. I also think someone is also selling a switchbox/cable set in the Amiga market. Might check the ads in recent AmigaWorld or Amazing Computer.
