Toaster 3.0 Rumor Mill

To keep the rumor mill running at to speed, here's what I know. (For what It's
worth.) The toaster 3.0 software will come as a complete software update.
[AThere will probably be a version of lightwave that will be avalible seperate,
and since I have probably already upset someone with the previous statment, I
won't say how nuch they go for, I don't know. I will say that in my research I
found that the Toaster 2.0 total package (2,000$) cost about the same as a 1.0
complete system plus the 2.0 upgrage. (Actual milage may vary.) I refuse to
belive that Newtek could be so greedy that they would crank up the cost by two
grand! I have heard that the stand alone Lightwave will be competitive in price
to other animation pacages, though

I'm hoping they come up with an anim player suitable for 24 bit or at
least near DCTV level.

I don't know about pricing but I hope they take into consideration that some of
us already paid 395 for the 2.0 Upgrade. I paid list for my toaster and I
upgraded a year later.
