I booted from a pure AmigaDos 2.04 disk, then mounted my HD UEdit still
failed with error #80000003. Two things should be noted: 1) the HD is
formatted with the new FFS and 2) there is a MultiStart II Board installed.

Allan, I'm sorry, but I just don't have an answer. I'd be glad to help if
I could, but I don't use UEdit, and I don't know why it is giving you
problems. I do hope some of our other members can help you.
Would you please do something for us, though? We have a full name policy
in this forum, as do almost all forums on CompuServe. Please go to the
Forum! prompt, type OPTIONS, select NAME, and type both your first and last
names. Then make that change permanent. We will all appreciate your doing
this.

Because I use and generally like UEdit, I have contacted the author. He
will be looking into it. He's puzzled because he does not have the problem
on his A3000.
