#aawin.dll title
5 messages in this thread
Is there a way to suppress the opening title window when you open
an autodesk animation using the dll? It is very distracting to our
users. We develop computer-based learning software. We would be
more than happy to include a copyrightnotice in the documentation.
Sorry,
It is part of the public domain licensing agreement that the opening title
window appears. Your pressing OK on that window is your acceptance of the
agreement.

To suppress the copyright sign-on you need to make special licensing
arangements with Autodesk, Inc. Contact Chris Allis at (415) 332-2344 x8727
for further information on this matter.
Or, if you use only MCI commands, then the copyright notice is not displayed,
but then you also have a more restricted capability.
Phil,
Chris left a message a while back that he would prefer people contact him
either by writing (Multimedia Developer's Relations c/o Autodesk, Inc., 2320
Marinship Way, Sausalito, CA 94965) or via FAX (415/491-8308). Unless things
have changed since then, I'm not sure he can be reached by phone. (You can
leave a message, but might not get a reply.) You might want to check with Chris
and find out if this is still the case.

Actually, I went to confirm with Chris whether this was possible. Chris just
refers you to the Strategic Relations Manager who is Gail Okumura. She can be
reached by FAX at (415) 491-8308.
