Cal:
Saw your messages about wanting Gallery Effects as a batch routine. We
contacted them over a year ago on this, and they said there wasn't enough of
a market for them to get into it.
So we did it ourselves! We have 20 IXP routines, doing everything from oils
to smudges and drips to Van Gogh and Pointalism. Add an old movie effect
and a few _wild_ transitions, and you've got the idea!
We are just finishing them up, they should be available within a week or
so. Autodesk is showing them in their booth at NAB this week, and there will
be some good representation by people presenting at NCGA.
Keep in touch, good things come to those who wait! And you won't even have
to wait long!

O.K. folks, here's the hot tip…
Using the technique described by Ron Wodaski in VID3D.ZIP (Multimedia Forum,
LIB 6), you can bring a Video for Windows clip into 3D Studio, where you can
soon process it with Pyros' soon-to-be-released IPAS routines to get animated
art-effects. Ron describes how to then bring the file back into Video for
Windows and re-synch the audio for mondo-cool multimedia effects.
Check it out.
