The program didn't like it if i stopped play, used file manager to force a data
disk into the drive and resume play. On trying to resume play Windows did
"Quick exit to DOS <POOF!>" Since your program seems to detect Eject signals, i
assume that eject for the DRM-600 refers to the whole cartridge, rather than an
individual disk.
These programs seem to assume i have one cd player and that i'll want to play
audio disks in the first drive. Yours did not seem affected by the Control
Panrl Drivers "CD Audio" setting.
I did like the fact that you pull an id off the disk.
This should not happen!
One of the things we pride ourselves on is the stability of CDPlayer. A
thought has occured as to what the problem may be, CDPlayer thinks that you are
using drive X if you make drive X unavailable, by switching to drive Y using
another program drive X is no lnger availabel. The system then issues an
instruction to drive X and windows does not like it.
I am surprised at this, especially the exit to DOS, as I would have anticipated
a simple error message being returned.
What happens if you switch to drive Y and then try to do a directory of X using
file manager or from DOS?
